More About Coach Washington Luis
I start coaching in 2018 back home in Brazil where I am from. Since I started coaching soccer, I have been coaching kids and teenagers who aspired to become professional players in South America and Europe. In the U.S. I've been coaching athletes looking for good athletic scholarships, and opportunity at major colleges in the U.S. like Division 1, Division 2, or NAIA. Also, I worked as a coach in different academies in Brazil. Here in the United States I have been working more and specializing myself in private training and small group training focusing on the desire and goals of each player. Also, creating specific training and drills for the athlete's evolution, targeting his or her strengths and weaknesses.
I started playing soccer when I was 5 years old. In 2014-2016 I played for the U-17 professional Soccer Academy, "Esporte Clube Corinthians Paulista" (attack midfielder), in Sao Paulo Brazil. In 2017 I played in the U-20 for another Soccer Academy, "Associacao Atletica Serra Morena", also in Sao Paulo Brazil. In 2018 I played Second Division Professional Futsal Soccer Academy, "Lauzane Paulista F.C." in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In 2019 I received a full-ride scholarship from Western Nebraska Community College in NE where I played for 2 years as an attack midfielder. During these two years I received some awards such as: "Season fall 2020- Second team all-region midfielder". "Season fall 2021- First team all-region midfielder", also "Top assistance player of the region." In 2022 I received another good scholarship to play for Arizona Christian University to play as a starter attacking mid, where I could help the team to win the "GSAC Regular Season" for the first time in the program history.
The client can expect from me an one hour and twenty minutes session where I will introduce and coach a different type of soccer. I will push the player as much as I can to help him or her to improve and develop skills, techniques, mindset related to the game of soccer. Helping them become a better player and achieve their goals!
