More About Coach Victoria
I competed as a gymnast for 14 years and have been coaching for 7 years. I coach anywhere from preschoolers to level 9 in women's competitive artistic gymnastics. I have worked in club gyms and YMCA's as well as numerous summer camps such as OGC and Flipfest. I am currently the Assistant Head Coach of a greater St.Louis area YMCA.
I competed through level 9 when I broke my back in training and had to stop. Before my injury, I competed at one of the top gyms in the Midwest and was State Champion for individual events as well as all around and a Regional and National champ on vault.
I am very flexible with how I run privates. We can work on getting specific skills as well as working overall technique based on current routines. I have a wide arsenal of different drills for hundreds of skills and since I have competed or practiced many of them I have the ability to relate and connect to the gymnast using analogies or examples.
