My ideal age group is ages 6 to 22 . However, I also do fitness training for adults who are looking to lose weight. We can work together to determine your ambition and goals. We will accomplish them.
I'm a professional soccer player and just returned from playing in La Segunda División de Costa Rica. I'm training and preparing for trials in Germany and am playing for the San Jose Earthquakes Minor League team (Burlingame Dragons) until I make the journey abroad. I graduated from the University of New Hampshire in the spring of 2014 and played forward, outside mid, and outside defender for our division 1 institution.
I studied sports kinesiology and my class schedule entailed sports psychology, soccer coaching, athletic administration, and biology courses. I have 7 years of coaching experience and am looking forward to helping young athletes make their dreams a reality. Advanced speed and agility equipment is necessary for optimal athletic development and I will be glad to share my knowledge of sport with anyone who is willing to put in the work.
2010 U.S Academy U-17/18 National Champion (Vardar, MI) “In the 92nd minute, Uche scored to send Vardar to the National Championship game in Los Angeles, California.”
As a senior, Uche scored 13 goals for Pioneer High School. In H.S, he led his club to 2 state championship games. He garnered All-Conference, All-District, and All-State honors. He was awarded: Team Captain, Most Valuable Player, Most Versatile Player, and Best Team Performer Award. Uche was a track and cross-country star, competing in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, and 1600m. He signed his Division I Letter Of Intent Scholarship to The University of New Hampshire.
Uche led the New Hampshire Wildcats to two Division I American East Championship games, where the team fell short to UMBC in penalty kicks in 2010 and 2012.
In 2013, Uche was the goal leading scorer for UNH with 7 goals. Four of Uche’s seven goals were game winners. He scored in the opening weekend of the season in double-overtime play against Evansville (Sept. 1). His two-goal performance against The University of Vermont ultimately gave UNH a bye into the semifinal round of the American East Championship and earned them home-field advantage. Post-Season, Uche was nominated for the New England NEISL All-Star Game.
Uche was awarded Most Valuable Player, Division 1 American East All- Conference First Team, and NSCAA All-Northeast Region Team. Uche was nominated for American East Fan Choice Player of the Year and finished second with 1,906
You can expect very technical training with ball skills, proper passing and shooting, agility, technique resistance, and building endurance. Also offer health tips on how to keep body energized to maximize potential and success. My coaching philosophy is to provide the best environment for athletes to accomplish their short-term and long-term goals. It's important that my athletes realize how to maximize their potential on and off the field. I will outline the steps in becoming a division 1 athlete and will be most beneficial if athletes are between the ages of 10-16. A typical session will include a brief dynamic warm up, followed by speed and agility drills, followed with technique and tactical training. Ball control in tight spaces, speed and agility with ball, shooting and passing technique will be the fundamental skills in our training sessions. The session will end with a short cool down and stretch, and then will review our short-term and long-term goals for the week.
