I have been playing soccer since I was old enough to walk. I started off just playing at the local YMCA but then it quickly became a passion. I played for the travel team, Elkhart Flames, for a few years, with whom I competed at nationals. I was then recruited to Indiana FC where I finished off my teen years. I have played every position on the field, but my specialty is goalkeeper, though I feel very comfortable training any position. After I graduated high school I went on to play soccer at Grace College. My wife and I moved out to Rockford, Illinois after college where I am now a high school soccer coach.

I enjoy working with players of all ages and it is a passion of mine to see players grow in not only their soccer skills, but in their confidence in themselves and their abilities. Like I previously mentioned, my specialty is goalkeeping, but I feel confident in training any position on the field.

I have been playing since I was a very little kid. When I was 8 I played on my first travel team. From there I went on to play with the Indiana state soccer team where my team placed 3rd at nationals. I was named MVP of the tournament. I played on this team until I was 16, then I went on to play soccer at Grace College. When I was only 13 I played with the Bethel College soccer team during off-season games and practices.

My sessions will include quite a bit of conditioning and footwork regardless of the position, and from there on it just depends on what your child is looking to pursue. Every session will include a 1-on-1 'scrimmage' where I can fully see your child in action. You can learn a lot about what needs to be taught by actually playing the game with someone. After each session I want to make sure your child will leave more confident in their ability than they even imagined.
