More About Coach Tony

My name is Tony Labudovski and I am a former Professional Soccer player. I've played at Wright State University then went and signed a Semi Pro contract in Sweden for two seasons. I also played two years for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. As a youth player I played for NCA Blast FC. I direct summer camps in Columbus and train boys and girls privately or in age appreciate groups.

I believe every time you train, you should train like it's a game. Being a great player you have to have a great foundation. That being said, I like to focus on the technical side. My sessions consist of dribbling, passing, receiving, 1v1 situations, combination play, fitness, shooting/finishing. I also work on speed, agility and coordination. It's very important for a soccer players to have a explosive first step. By getting more repetitions on the ball, players have more confidence going at people in 1v1 situations. I like to be very positive with my players. I don't believe in yelling or screaming. Not only does it scare the players, but it will break their confidence.

In High School I was a Adidas All American, 1st team All State. I played 4 years at Wright State University where I collected numerous awards such as All New Comer Team, 2nd Team All Horizon League, 1st team All Horizon Team, 3rd Team ALL Great Lakes, Two time team MVP and most valuable offensive player. I was a team captain my senior year.

A typical session would start off with a dynamic warm up. Depending on the players position, I would set up drills that would develop their technical skills. Also I would evaluate players strengths and what they need to work on. My main goal is to challenge the players so they can be the best and also to create a positive environment. A session would last one hour long.
