More About Coach Tony

Began coaching/mentoring youth in 1977. Coached with the Police Athletic League from 1994 to 2001. I currently own and run Bad to the Bonz boxing gym since 2001. I became a California licensed professional trainer in 2010. I presently coach four professional fighters and numerous USA amateur boxers who are working towards turning pro. One of my fighters earned a bronze at the Olympic trials. My son successfully fought professionally in Las Vegas for many years.

As a youth boxer I earned an amateur record of 43-2 and competed in the Diamond Belt. I trained very hard for two years and ran in a full marathon, pushing myself beyond limits I never thought I could achieve.

A usual session at my gym includes tons of cardio, bag work, boxing fundamentals, footwork, bag drills, plyometrics, stretching, and everything else that I know will make you a better version of yourself.

Tony, I really appreciate all that you do for me, I have never trained so hard in all my life. I didn't believe you at first when you said boxing is harder than football, but you're right, it's way harder. Ever since I started training at the gym I have lost a lot of weight and gained a lot of confidence. I am doing so much better at work and at home. Anyways, I just wanted to say thank you and I hope you know that I work really hard, because you push me to do just that. Thanks, Hugo
