3 time Chicago Golden Gloves Champion, Midwestern trials Champion, Olympic trials competitor. Winner over 150 bouts as an amateur, boxed many outstanding fighters as an amateur including; Meldrick Taylor, Kelsie Banks, Kenny Gould, and Oscar DeLahoya.
Emphasis on proper fundamentals (footwork, weight distribution, punching mechanics), conditioning, flexibility, balance, speed, and hand eye coordination.
