More About Coach Tiffany

Tiffany had the opportunity to play, coach and train with and against the best, including Heather Tarr, Brandy Thurman, Alicia Hollowell, Katie Cotta, Robert (Bob) Regpala, and Brian Kolze. After college she returned as an assistant coach for the R&R Gold team for a few years and then worked for 4 years as Assistant Varsity Coach for Tokay High. Tiffany coached ASA in Seattle, while playing USSSA in Olympia. Under her direction, team Phoenix won the ECSA league 2 out of the 3 years. In 2016, as head coach for the PNW Force 16U team, she returned to fastpitch. For the past 3 years she been the Assistant Head Coach of NW Speed and where she's provided constant opportunities for her players to reach the college level.

Tiffany began her softball career at the age of 12 when she was recruited after 2 years of baseball to play fastpitch. As a utility player she mastered all positions from the infield to the outfield. At the age of 13 she was invited to the '96 USA Junior Olympics Team out of California. During her time at Brookside Christian, the high school team took league 2 consecutive years and was advanced a division as a result. Her travel ball select success with R&R Gold out of Stockton, CA took her to the Big League World Series and twice to Nationals in 1999 with NSA 16U and ASA 18U. Signing with CSU Dominguez Hills, she played a year before an injury returned her home where she played for San Joaquin Delta College as her coaching career began.

One-on-one, hour-long trainings focus on a position or specific skill. Whether you're pitching, catching, infield, outfield, focused on hitting or looking to learn how to slap, I will break down the mechanics and tailor the instruction to benefit you as an individual. Focused tools and techniques will maximize your potential.

All sessions begin with a warm-up (stretching, calisthenics, everyday drills) and conclude with a mental game summary (body awareness, drill functionality, application to the game). Focused techniques comprise the majority of a session and will vary by position and skill. For example, a catcher's session may concentrate on throw downs, quick-release, and blocking. A pitcher may work on leg drive, velocity, and core strength in addition to specific pitches and location. Hitting sessions may focus on extension, handwork, engaging the core, initiating the lower half, footwork for slap, or bat angles.

It doesn't matter how long you've been playing, there's always more to learn. If you're willing to put in the work, I'll teach you the skills to make it happen.

I’ve been playing softball for several years now. I picked it up on my own as a kid without any formal training whatsoever. After my first training session with Coach Tiffany, I realize just how much there is to still learn and I am excited to go forth with more sessions with her. She is very personable and patient. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking to learn the sport or just improve on what they already know. She has a wealth of knowledge about softball and is ready to pass it on.

I really enjoyed working with Coach Tiffany. She is very knowledgeable about the game and is good at explaining things in a way that I can understand. I left the session with specific things I can focus on to improve and am looking forward to working with her again.

She did a great job with my daughter who has never played before and is a great teacher!

Tiffany is passionate about softball which shows in her coaching of her players. She inspires her girls to be all that they can be both on and off the field. She believes in positive coaching which instills confidence in her players. As a parent of my daughter who was coached by Tiffany this last season I am thankful for all that Tiffany has taught her. Thank you Tiffany for everything!
