More About Coach Tally

I take my experiences (backup youth goalkeeper, D1 college All American, MLS All Star) and do my very best to pass on the knowledge to the next generation. I have done private training in the past, but most of my time was filled up pushing the other players on my team. I have moved on from playing but am still interested in maintaining a connection to the game.

I was a 2 time College All America selection (San Diego State University). I spend 10 years playing professionally, 2 years in Denmark (Esbjerg fB), 6 years for the Houston Dynamo, 1 year for Orlando City Soccer Club, and my last professional season was spent at DC United.

The fundamentals will always be at the forefront of the lesson plan. There are no advanced techniques, there are only advanced applications of basic techniques.

Coach Tally was awesome. Our son Caleb is 14 and has been playing/practicing keeper since he was 9. He has had a few good keeper specific coaches for other private training but Tally took the time to not only explain the how but the "why" to our son, which he loved and allowed him to gain a better perspective on doing. Tally was not a clock watcher and my wife and I actually had to stop the practice so she could get to work. Caleb is excited for his next session with Tally.
