I have been coaching high school JV and Varsity level soccer at West Rowan High School, Cannon School, and Lake Norman High School. I am currently the Assistant JV and Varsity soccer coach at Lake Norman High School.
I have also been a personal trainer and group class fitness coach at Crossfit 77 in Mooresville, NC for 3 years.
I have a BA degree in Exercise Science from Catawba College.
My certifications include: Crossfit Level 1 Certification; OPT (Optimum Performance Training) Assessment and Program Design Certification; ISSA Speed and Agility and Strength and Conditioning Certification; Class E Soccer Coaching License.

4 year varsity starter at Lake Norman High school earning all conference and all region from sophomore through senior year.
Played 1 year at Western Carolina University where I red shirted my freshman year. Transferred to Catawba College and played 4 year playing in 59 matches and 39 starts.

A typical session with me would start with a good dynamic warmup with movements that coincide with what we are doing in that session. I also will add some shoulder stability exercises for my clients if necessary. Depending on the clients goals, my biggest priority is making sure my client leaves feeling they just had an awesome and challenging workout. If it is a client that is just focusing on body composition I like to use supersets because I like for the client to be moving for most of the session, even their rest break will be a nice and easy lap walking so they are still moving but their heart rate is coming down. During the cool down I liked to work mobility, whether it is foam rolling or static stretching.
