More About Coach Spencer
I have experience coaching players ranging in age from elementary school to high school, and in skill level ranging from beginners to varsity athletes. I also have experience in both 1 on 1 and group sessions, including high school and summer camps.
I played Division 1 soccer at Wofford College as a center mid, making the starting 11 my freshman year. I am currently a semi-professional playing for Georgia Storm in the NPSL.
I believe technique and ball control are two of the most important aspects of training. Mastering fundamentals will be a large focus of my sessions, although nuances will be included both to increase the degree of difficulty and keep things interesting. Sessions will also be tailored to each player. For example, an athlete looking to become quicker and more dynamic will have a very different session to one looking to improve their technique and skill.

Coach Spencer is the best coach my son has had. Coach Spencer didn’t make my kid just go through the motions. Instead, Coach Spencer ran a few drills to evaluate my son and the focused on his weaknesses. Coach Spencer will stop the training if the technique isn’t correct. Then demonstrate the proper technique and repeats until my son has the proper technique down. I highly recommend Coach Spencer! My son has improved with only a handful of sessions!
