More About Coach Solo
This is for competition Muay Thai training (professionals and amateurs). If you are tired of wasting your time in the gym in a routine that makes you sweat for nothing, I offer methodical, drastic progress within 3 months or money back. I own and run my own training camp in Thailand and am the only foreigner who teaches Muay Thai to the Thai themselves, in Thai language. I spend several months per year in New York & LA as well, training fighters in STAND-UP MMA, BOXING, and MUAY THAI.
My own precise training method that proved itself over and over for the last 10 years. Many very successful prize fighters have come out of my training. I invite you to look online for my achievements in the Muay Thai community in Thailand.
Nothing can compare to this method in the west. Being a good fighter does not yet make you a relevant trainer. To train others, you need to decompose your craft to the ground first and then rebuild it like a puzzle.
As well, being a talented fighter does not win you fights, you need the ring IQ and true knowledge of who you need to be in the ring to win and stay safe by all means.
My signature method adds powerful boxing techniques to Muay Thai combat. You will learn how and when to change stances, position your body the right way to create the maximum power and safety, how to control your opponent at all times, mind the range, give him angles and mislead him into devastating combinations. At the same time, you will learn how to incorporate these precious techniques in your Muay Thai range, footwork and game plan, and how to perfectly dose them with conventional Muay Thai techniques. You can use this training for pure Muay-Thai rules, as well as for MMA stand-up.
This is a training that has produced 5 Muay Thai champions in the last 3 years only.
Training is done with an emphasis on ring generalship and technical sparring: we are not only training to perfect form, combinations, power, speed, reflexes, co-ordination and athletic abilities, but we are also rehearsing when, why, where and how to set up offense & defense.
Any movement has its time and place and purpose in a fight, and you must be able to apply the rules by the book before you can play around theses rules: this is called responsible fighting. You will then get the advantage upon many competitors who maybe look good on the pads but maybe don’t really know what they are doing in this ring.
School of teaching :
Muay thai school of muay thai chaiya:
Muay chaiya is the purest discipline of the muay thai schools. It is a preserved art of which fundamental teachings are in the original training method of master khet sriyabhai. Chaiya fighters do not only focus on physical strength and conditioning: when the body mechanics are perfect, the power is generated organically witch means it is much more devastating. You don’t leap like in muay boran, but you hop. Your movements are based on a rocking horse, with the torso pivoting and allowing you to strike in the same time as you set up a second strike in the other direction”.
Muay boran:
Muay boran, the oldest form of muay thai. It demands a fighting stance that is much lower and wider than in muay thai. This requires fighters to have greater agility, flexibility and speed, but allows them, for example, to jump off their opponent’s knee to deliver a blow to the head.
Striking principles include animal forms (elephant, monkey etc.) And head-butts as the ninth offensive in addition to the eight limbs of muay thai. Defense principles include techniques like touching the back of your head to make your opponent punch your elbow and hurt his hand. It is a precious cultural heritage.

He was leaving town for the season, so I only saw him a few times (in LA). But really special. Brilliant doctoring. Also a really gentle and personable guy with a real background.

A Muay Thai trainer who actually trains professional fighters from Thailand in their own language and without an accent.
Jessica Giordano (Testimonial)
Not your usual trainer. Catch him when he is in NYC or LA: a 4-to-6 weeks program will change EVERYTHING for you for the rest of the year! This training gives you tools to develop on your own after that: Holistic Nutrition, Conditioning, Natural Health, Personal performance, Skill-Set, Ring IQ... everything is covered and more. Not a minute random or wasted. After that, if you are fighting at a high-level, then I suggest taking a one month trip to his training camp in Thailand for the ultimate challenge... a very special man that treats you like a champ you are!
Ken Soothew (Testimonial)
He is awesome and he cares too! He won't let you waste your time and he can take you all the way to the top if you want! Also, you will discover a genuine nice guy with no attitude at all, no complex of superiority, only positivity to give you. Just wished he was around more often.
Bpet-Noi Hat-Ao-Koei 7 times champion (Testimonial)
Very few trainers can transmit ring IQ methodology. Solo makes you decompose every angle of the game scientifically until you are able to put it back together like a puzzle, moment to moment. One hour with Solo gets you the highest value for your time and money.
Lito Malocu (Testimonial)
Very rare to have the game explained frame by frame. Solo will probably deconstruct you to pieces and rebuild you sound and safe. This is for athletes who have ambitions in the sport, not for fun or cardio.
Jo Rodriguez (Testimonial)
Solo is the only westerner who teaches pure muay thai to Thai fighters and in Thai language. That says it all
K. Sulivan (Testimonial)
SOLO IS THE BEST TRAINER I HAVE EVER MET IN MY LIFE" (K. SULIVAN)
