I've been coaching for about 6 years. I started out coaching summer league teams for incoming freshman as well as high school summer camps for Georgetown High School. While in college I coached at several summer camps for all ages at The University of Alabama, Angelo State & New Mexico State University. I spent two summers working at the Round Rock YMCA where I was in charge of running volleyball camps & coaching summer league teams for kids ages 8-14. While finishing my playing career at New Mexico State I got involved with club volleyball. My first year I worked with 10-13 year old's & my second year I coached a group of high school girls. I also coach summer camps & clinics for Austin Performance Volleyball & The University Of Texas. Following graduation I obtained my teaching certification in Special Education & am currently working as a JV Volleyball coach at Georgetown High School!

I fell in love with the game in 6th grade! I played for Georgetown High School as an all-state Middle Blocker. My senior year our team made school history by making it to the state tournament. My first two years of college I played volleyball at the University of Alabama as a utility hitter. As a freshman I was named to the Century Link Premier All Tournament team. After my sophomore season I transferred to Angelo State where our team won conference & advanced to the sweet sixteen in the NCAA tournament. As an Outside Hitter at ASU I was named Lone Star Conference Newcomer of the Year, 3 time Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week, First Team All-Conference, AVCA All-South Central Selection & and AVCA 3rd team All American. After one season at ASU I transferred to New Mexico State to finish my playing career & graduated with my Bachelor's degree in 2015.

During a private lesson I like to focus on two or three skills the athlete wishes to improve on. My coaching philosophy is centered around sound technique & fundamentals. For athletes at any level I will emphasize technique because it is crucial for consistency & player development in order to compete at a high level. I strongly believe in the use of technology to provide instant visual feedback so I like to use iPad to record. I give athletes drills they can do at home to improve as well. I'll send them with several key things to focus on & simple drills they can do with just a volleyball at home. After a lesson I like to talk with the parents & the player so we can discuss how the lesson went & address any questions/concerns.

I can offer specific help with strength & conditioning as well as nutrition & supplements. If any athlete is interested in playing at the next level I can definitely help with the recruiting process. I also provide group lessons and online training.
