I'm a USA Boxing certified amateur boxing coach. Trained individuals on boxing fundamentals and techniques. Coached at the amateur boxing level. Worked the corners of several amateur fighters, a couple times as lead trainer and countless times as an assistant. Was Coach Eugene Floyd's protege, interned under Floyd at C4 Boxing Club in Hampton Virginia. Coached age ranges 15 - to adults, men and women.
As a teen in the military I was trained by Coach Hector Seguin in New Jersey. Due to military obligations I didn't have many sanctioned fights. I took the skills I learned and began training other military members while deployed.
First we'll start off with a light warm up to get the blood flowing. Warm up consists of full body stretches, jumping jacks, arm rotations, dumbbell punches. Next, 3 x 3 minute rounds of shadow boxing (once proper punch technique has been taught during initial session). Then focus mitt work 3 x 3 minute rounds. Next 10 - 15 minutes jumping rope. Warm down with a set number of push ups and abdominal exercises.
