More About Coach Shane

Professional soccer player with experience playing in 3 different continents. I have coached at many different levels whether it's academy teams, private sessions with players, summer camps and soccer clinics. I have coached kids from the age of 3-19 and also worked with some u16 and u19 academy teams. I am a fully qualified FAI (Football Association of Ireland) soccer coach and have completed the D License ( US Soccer) and will be competing my C license soon. I’m also a fully qualified Personal Trainer and have completed courses in CPR and First Aid.

I completed four years on a soccer scholarship at Keiser University in West Palm Beach. A couple of weeks after graduating, I signed a professional soccer contract for Linkoping City FC in the second division in Sweden. I was named All-American and Defensive Player of the Year for the Sun Conference in 2015. I have been capped at U15 and U18 for Ireland. Since my collegiate soccer career, I have played professional in three different continents - Europe / USA / Australia.

I like to do a lot of technical work in my sessions and try use the balls as much as possible. Depending on the age and current level of the player, sessions will vary in regards to learning basic skills and techniques to more challenging workouts and routines. Sessions will vary depending on the players position, age, strengths and weaknesses.
