More About Coach Sebastien
I am a recreational and team coach at the Houston Gymnastics Academy. I have experience coaching preschool to high school k kids (ages 2-18). I am registered with USAG and am SafeSport certified.
My Xcel team has taken 1st place at various competitions around the Houston area and consistently takes gold at competitions for individual placements. These kids range from elementary to high school.
My sessions vary a lot with each client. I determine what we work on based on their goals and what they need specifically to achieve those goals. Most importantly I want my clients to have fun!
To get specific, let's say someone wants to improve their handstand. Every time they kick up to a handstand they fall over instantly. I will have them do drills like like "donkey kicks" to practice keeping their arms straight and "candle stick" to teach them stability.
