More About Coach Sebastian

Soccer has always been the most important part of my life. I love playing as well as coaching it. It is so much fun to give some of my knowledge to the next generation of soccer players and watch them getting better every day. I have been coaching soccer camps and youth teams in Germany for 5 years. During every summer and winter break, I go back home to Germany and coach kids at the ages 4-12. The club I coached at is 1.FC Magdeburg which is a 4th division team in Germany. Also I have been coaching at the Houston Baptist University soccer academy for a while now. My head coach Steve Jones gave me the opportunity to assist him in coaching several of his academy teams. We developed a skills academy that help kids to improve their technical skills and make them a better soccer player. Also, I received the national "E" coaching license in the summer of 2015 and the "D" license in 2016.

I started playing soccer at the of 6 for the academy of 1.FC Magdeburg in Germany. I was the captain of the state selection of Saxony-Anhalt for several years and spent two years playing at the highest German youth level (Youth Bundesliga). I also played in several games for the first team of Magdeburg and scored one goal. I came to Houston in 2012 to attend college. Here, I played for the Houston Baptist University at the Division 1 level until November 2015. I was twice named an Academic All-Conference player. I also played several games in the Premier Development League for Derby City Rovers.

I will start each training session with some passing and dribbling drills to see the player´s skills and evaluate what we should focus on in the future. I will try to make everyone a better player each time they come to my practices. I basically want the player to decide what we are working on each session to optimize his or her experience because those sessions are not about me, they are about YOU.

I am extremely pleased with the level of training my 11 year old son is receiving from Coach Sebastien. His technique and demeanor are unlike any we have experienced. We selected him because of his experience and will continue because of the positive results we've seen from day 1.

I thought that Coach Sebastian was a great coach. In less than three months my skills as a soccer player have increased tremendously, and most of that is due to his wonderful teaching. He offered great tips in dribbling, shooting, and passing, which encompassed everything that I needed as a player. I never felt pressured or intimidated by Coach Sebastian; as a matter of a fact, I was pretty comfortable around him. I would recommend Coach Sebastian to any aspiring midfielder/forward soccer player that wants a comfortable and fun 1 on 1 training session.

Sebastian was a great coach. He is very knowledgable in soccer and was great with our kids (ages 6-12). They loved learning from him and I would recommend him to anyone trying to improve their soccer skills.

My son had his first session with Coach Sebastian today, Jun 16. It was very informative and my son learned some new moves that were not taught to him at his previous club. After the session Coach Sebastian gave feedback on my son's session quickly. He is very responsive to answering messages even when I messeged him while he was in Germany. My son was happy and had fun while learning. I even learned some things while watching. We have 2 more sessions and will be back for more.

Coach Sebastian is an awesome coach! He's very responsive to requests. He made my daughter feels comfortable and has fun in training. He teaches fundamental soccer techniques like ball control, juggling, receiving, dribbling, passing, and finishing, etc. My daughter loves her weekly training session with coach Sebastian and I have seen improvement in her techniques and confident with the ball. The practice field is very nice. I highly recommend coach Sebastian for anyone looking for individual soccer coaching.

Coach Sebastian as excellent European Standard coaching skills ,he is clear and concise and a great communicator. Our son really like working with him and even after one session there was noticeable improvement.
