More About Coach Scott
I am a full time professional coach, coaching three different sports (softball, basketball & soccer) 12 months a year. I have been coaching softball for 12 years and got my 1st high school job in 2007. My coaching philosophy is simple. It's about the player or players! As a coach, I would say my specialties are hitting and working with catchers.
I love what I do because I feel it gives me a chance to make a difference in kids lives by teaching them skills they can use both on and off the field. I adjust my lessons to fit the individual player or team because they are all different. I focus on confidence and patience while pushing players to raise the bar and reach for their potential. I try to end every practice or session with something light to make sure even the tough sessions end on a high note.
As a coach, I never show up unprepared and I am constantly working on my own craft to keep up with the changing game and the changing player styles. I know that my name is my livelihood and I never sacrifice credibility for a quick buck!!!
