More About Coach Scott

I have had extensive experience coaching youth development players in England. I coached between the levels of U11 to U16. I then went to college to get my National Diploma of Sports at Filton College. Then I played as a collegiate athlete for four years at Crowder College and Ashford University. Upon graduating, I assisted the Ashford University Men's Soccer Team where we reached the National Tournament for a third year in a row. As an assistant coach, I specifically worked with the goalkeepers.

I played club soccer for 15 years in England where I won numerous awards. At the age of 21 I decided to pursue my soccer career in America. I began my first two years at Crowder College where I won First Team All Region Player. Then I received a full athletic scholarship to Ashford University. During my two years at Ashford University, my team reached the National Tournament both years as a player. My senior year, my team made it to the Final Four of the National Tournament.

I want the client to have the best possible chance to succeed as a soccer player, Depending on the age and ability of the client will depend on what type of specific skill we will work on. New and old players will always practice the basics and work on developing new techniques. I will see what level the client is at and base my judgement on what specific training is required and work with the client on a one-one basis. Its important to be consistent and to be ready for every practice. A typical practice will consist of ball work, position sense, technical work with and without the ball and making sure they understand the drill and what they are getting out of the session is also very important too.
