Primary expertise is with catching and hitting, though lessons in other areas are available.
*Can offer a unique teaching option with a dual pitching and catching lesson. Catcher will receive real-time coaching off live pitcher while the pitcher receives real-time pitching instruction from another coach. Both are receive individual attention while getting game-like feedback and learning how to operate as a cohesive unit.*

Lessons are individually tailored to incorporate progressive skill work, position-specific conditioning, and video analysis for feedback.
Feedback from the athlete is solicited during lessons and considered for constructing subsequent plans.
If you are my client, I will make an effort to attend an summer games to give additional feedback.

Client Reviews

Had a great session with Sarah. She was patient and clear with my daughter. Offered her great feedback. Gave my daughter extra confidence in her hitting and throwing. Would love to work with her again.

Sarah has worked with my daughter individually and my players as a group. She is able to create an immediate bond with her clients which puts them at ease, so the learning can start much quicker. I have seen great improvement in my daughter and my players who have worked with Sarah. Her technical expertise and calming personality creates a great environment for learning, not to mention being a positive female role model for younger players. As a father/volunteer coach, I often see overbearing male coaches whose knowledge of the game is subpar. With Sarah you get the real deal—someone who's been there, done that and could write a book about it.
I have been practicing and training with Sarah Goodman for several months now, and she has been able to teach me things that nobody had ever mentioned before. She teaches and guides in a way that makes difficult tasks seem easy, and encourages give one-hundred ten percent always. Sarah is passionate about her sport, and her enthusiasm also makes it much easier to be able to learn from her. Her method of breaking down all skills and drills, with lots of repetition, makes everything much less complicated, and easier to comprehend. The winter conditioning and practice on hot days was worth it after being able to, myself, see the outcome of everything I had learned from Sarah.
