I tailor training sessions to what the athlete needs to take their game to the next level. All four pillars of a soccer player (technical, tactical, physical and psychological) are enhanced in every session but an emphasis will be based on the athletes' specific needs. I firmly believe that a strong base of athletic development is key to helping athletes improve technically and tactically, and that technical training should reflect what type of technique is used by the athlete on the field. All sessions will have a sufficient warm up and cool down that includes injury prevention exercises and athletic development. The rest of the session will be specific to what the athlete wants and needs to improve their game.

Sam was an excellent tutor, with a great understanding of movement and technical aspects of the game. Very encouraging to be around, can't wait for the next session.

Good first session. Really like the 1:1 drill focusing on speeding up after the initial move, as well as the spacing and stance on defense. Marcus really enjoyed it as well.

Sam was everything I had hoped for in a coach. He put me through my paces with several well-thought-out drills, giving me constant feedback whether I did something really well or whether he had spotted something that I could do or change to help me improve my technique. By the end of the first session, I reckoned I must have had at least a thousand touches on the ball, which was of immense help in improving my first touch and ball control. I can't recommend Sam highly enough. Professional, dedicated, hard-working, and blessed with a good sense of humor. What more could any coachee hope for?

Sam is a great Coach. Very good with kids and can verbalize feedback very constructively. Both my kids enjoy being coached by him.

My grandson said his first session with Coach Sam was productive and fun. Sam began with warmup and drill exercises, then assessed and taught skills. It was an excellent session. Sam has shown my Grandson new techniques and helped him strengthen his core with resistance exercises. They have worked on foot drills, blocking, strengthening, and so much more. Sam is really a wonderful teacher and takes the time to explain what and why he is teaching.

Coach Sam is terrific! After two sessions my son is already effectively applying what he's been learning. The one-on-one focus is really valuable, and the whole spirit of the sessions is also fun and engaging. Highly recommended.

Coach Sam has a wonderful ability to relate to kids. He smartly uses his first lesson as a baseline evaluation so as to custom future lessons also based upon early discussion of goals. My son, for example, is working on explosive movement and moving the defender on and off ball, and appropriately screening the defender to maximize my son's efficiency. Some kids at his age may be bigger, may be faster, but not necessarily more skilled or able to overcome smart play. Sam understands your skill set and works from there. He has been a pleasure to work with this far and we will continue to do so. His rates are also quite reasonable. He's also a Logger! Cool😊

My daughter plays premier soccer but wanted to improve her game in specific areas so we set up 1:1 training with Sam. One session in and we could not be happier and she had a blast. Sam was very professional and gave my daughter a fun, focused 1:1 session.

Coach Sam was a great coach. He had a bunch of drills to help develop my daughters skills. It was nice to have a longer first session to assess strengths and weaknesses before developing and improving on each area.

My son hasn't stopped asking when we're going to train again, he had so much fun. Sam is incredibly attentive, positive and it's clear he knows what he's doing. The boys were smiling the whole time, yet drenched in sweat by the end. Highly recommend!!!

Coach Sam has been great with tailoring a custom practice around Elijah's current development and situation. I really appreciate Sam's ability as a player to be involved and mix it up in a true 1 vs 1 setting. Sam had been a super communicator as well as flexible with his schedule. A couple sessions in, I am very pleased we made this choice.
Hello Coach Up folks! I mistakenly gave Coach Sam one star in my previous review. I am new to this site and was feeling a bit challenged. Sam is 5 stars without a doubt!! I apologize for any confusion.
