More About Coach Rylee

I started my coaching career right after I graduated from Northwest University in 2020. I was an assistant coach for the Northwest University Women’s soccer team for three seasons from 2020-2022. During this time, I also was hired on as an assistant coach for the women’s basketball team. I took on this role for two seasons.

In 2020, I also started a business called Two21 Soccer. This business is a balance of private/group soccer training and mentorship. I believe soccer is a platform to invest deeper into the lives of athletes. When we are on the soccer field, we are working hard and improving skill while also building character. The mentorship piece usually takes on the form of a coffee shop chat where we talk about soccer goals, life goals, interests, passions, and takeaways from our day to day. It’s really just building relationship on and off the field!

I have played soccer from the age of five all the way through college. To say soccer is a passion of mine is an understatement. It’s a lifestyle and a huge part of my daily life.

I committed to Northwest University in Kirkland, WA in 2015. My freshman season, we not only made school history by qualifying for Nationals for the first time but we also made National history as we were the first unranked team to make it to the Final Four. We went back to Nationals for the following two years. My junior year (2018), we won the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championship.

In 2019, my senior season, I was honored with First Team All Conference, Co-offensive Player of the Year for the CCC, Female Athlete of the Year for Northwest University, and I also hold the school record for single season game winning goals.

Lastly, I took on a leadership role as I was voted captain my Junior and Senior year.

I view soccer as a holistic sport, so my sessions usually implement many parts of the game. While sessions are tailored to the individual player, I typically include exercises that improve first touch, techniques in passing,
/shooting, receiving the ball out of the air, agility, footwork, and injury prevention.

The mental side of the game is just as important! While we work on improving skill, I also focus on improving mental toughness and decision making.

Client Reviews

Excellent experience

Coach Rylee is an amazing coach. I would recommend her to anyone.

Highly recommend, Coach Rylee is very clearly passionate about soccer and coaching youth players, she takes her time to explain proper technique and isn’t afraid to stop players and make corrections when necessary.
Emphasis on first touch, and keeping the ball close which is a crucial part of the game.
Looking forward to her and my sons coaching relationship to continue and watching as she builds up his skill level and passion for the game

Our daughter had a great first session with Rylee! Rylee identified skills she needs to work on and had a variety of drills to help her improve, all while having fun in the process! She is very knowledgeable and encouraging, and our daughter is very excited for her next sessions! We look forward to watching her improve and gain confidence in her skills. Highly recommend!
