More About Coach Rubem

My coaching career began quickly after I graduated high school. I began working with many teams and age groups; youth, high school and college level. I also did an internship with a professional team in my home town in Brazil. Here in America I have been a coach for the Madison United Soccer Association (MUSA) with the youth age, working on my own Academy with all ages and I am the assistant mens soccer coach at Berea College. I have earned my USSF National D license and I am an on location personal trainer.

I have played soccer since I was four years of age. I have played for youth academies and travel soccer teams in Brazil earning a lot of awards such as, MVP and winning tournaments. I came to America with a scholarship to play soccer for the University of the Cumberlands. I just finished my career as a player in 2014.

Using my background and experience as a player and coach while living and playing in Brazil, Spain and competing and coaching college soccer in the U.S., I prepare and conduct very dynamic training sessions and create an environment where the athlete will learn, develop and understand all technical, tactical, physical and psycho-social components of the game of soccer. Training sessions will highly emphasize the fundamentals of the game and will incorporate Coach Rodriguez’s knowledge as a personal fitness trainer to improve the young athlete’s soccer fitness while having fun. All aspects that will help improve a young soccer players level of play.

I just want to let you know how much we appreciate all that you have done to help Brian.He has scored two beautiful shots in his last two games and when we talked about the games he said that he knew his Brazilian coach would have been proud because he was the one that taught him how to shoot like that . We have enjoyed the training and even though it was a long trip Brian feels that he sas learned a lot. Thank you for all the hard work.
