More About Coach Rose
I am currently the head women's volleyball coach for a division two university. I have been working at the collegiate level for 7 years and my experience ranges from division one assistant to division three and division two head coach.
2009-2010- Florida International University (Assistant)
2010-2013- Morgan State University (Assistant)
2013-2014- St. Mary's College of Maryland (Head)
2014-Current- Virginia State University (Head)
I have been coaching volleyball since 2005 at a variety of summer camps, including, University of Florida, Pacific University and Gold Medal Squared.
I have been playing over half my life and I competed at NCAA division one California State University, Sacramento from 2005-2009.
While at Sacramento State we won 3 conference championships, I was selected to the conference teams and was team captain. I was a setter but I am confident coaching any position, including doubles beach and grass volleyball.
I will tailor our training sessions to your specific needs. Workouts will be different for attackers, setter and defensive players. I am comfortable working one on one, but I do find that it is helpful when hitters work with their setters. I am strong at picking out specific technical flaws and helping to improve your child's all around skills.
