More About Coach Robert

7 years of experience in coaching and training young athletes. The levels I have coached are recreational, preschool, elementary, middle school, high school, and club level private sessions. As a soccer coach, I worked at Chelsea Club in Bucharest, Romania. After that, I have managed to create my own soccer association (ACS Sports Fusion) in Romania. In the USA I worked for Soccer Shots Oahu and Whitfield SC. Currently, I’m working at Le Jardin Academy in Kailua for Chelsea Club and I’m super enjoying being a head coach at 4 different age groups. I work with ages 6-16 years old. I have a UEFA C license and completed the 2-year course for the UEFA B license.

An accomplishment is being able to open and manage my own soccer club in Romania, from renting the space to advertising sessions with parents and teachers. I have competed in League 2 in Romania.

Depending on the age group, a client can expect training that is best suitable for their needs on improvement. I will begin by greeting the individual/group of children and speaking to enforce positive learning (confidence, determination, respect, hardworking). Afterward, icebreaker soccer games can be used for warmups, running, and jumping exercises of different intensities and end with a recap of the entire session.

Client Reviews

To Whom it May Concern, This letter is to verify the employment of Robert Gherghisan with Soccer Shots Oahu as a Head Soccer Coach. Robert started his position with us on September 14, 2019. He has been an outstanding employee earning the rank of a Level 1 Instructor. Robert was a full-time employee (approximately 40 hours per week) with a compensation level of $20.00 per hour. Robert’s job duties included the complete management of a Soccer Shots lesson: set up, roster preparation, planning of curriculum, communication with parents, running a successful session, and daily wrap-up of the program. He proved to be a fantastic coach, reliable employee, and received top reviews from our participating players and families. Robert’s employment was unfortunately made inactive on March 23rd, 2020 due to the COVID-19 national health crisis. It is our hope to restart the Soccer Shots program and his employment with us in the near future. Please let me know if you have any further questions regarding Robert’s employment. Sincerely, Connor Artigue Executive Director & Owner Soccer Shots Oahu
