More About Coach Rafael
For one full year I have experienced coaching for a top level youth academy in Texas (Texas rush) and have learned to teach youth, teens, and young adults.
USSF LICENSE F,E,D
La Liga Methodology level 3
Specialize in youth academy kids and teens. (U-8 to U-15) but have experience with adults.
Athletically I played with SHSU men's club team and travelled to Manhatten, Kansas and San Marcos, TX for tournaments. Career goals 10, with 3 assist. I also co-managed the SHSU team for 1 year.
Fast paced and technical skills is what I love to teach. I teach athletes that tired minds make a weak performance, so I also incorporate brain games. We start with warm-ups and progress to SAQs 15 minutes. After a small break(3mins)we would start a technical skill and progress depending on improvement. 35 mins with small breaks in change of pace.

Coach Jack/ Assistant director of Montgomery HDDYS (Testimonial)
I first met Rafael back in college when we ran the Sam Houston State soccer team together. That's when I first noticed his work ethic. I've worked with Rafa for the past couple of years now and he's always been the professional one. He takes coaching very seriously and does not settle for mediocre, he wants nothing but the best for his players and teams. Even through his professionalism he always has a good sense of humor which made working side by side with him great.
Adam Starr. Former DIRECTOR OF COACHING of youth academy Texas rush. (Testimonial)
Loud, energetic, and on pace to be a great coach
