More About Coach Peggy

I have been playing competitive soccer as an outside defender for 11 years. I've played on multiple club teams and also on my high school team. I moved on to play for Saint Josephs College of Maine which is a D3 school. Last summer I obtained my personal training certification throughout the NCSF. Since then, I have been training athletes and non-athletes become stronger. I am currently working with my women's soccer team at school. I have oversaw their off season training and I have just finished creating their summer program to prepare them for preseason. I also have experience running soccer camps for various age groups dealing with foot skills and other soccer techniques. I am also working at Encompass Fitness in Millis as a personal trainer.

-Club soccer player for 11 years
-2x State champion
-4 year starter for high school varsity team
-3 year starter for college varsity team
-GNAC champion (2018)
-Attendee of the NCAA 2018 D3 tournament

Before beginning any session with an athlete, I would like to learn about what position they prefer to train in and skills they need to work on. To begin our session, we would start with a proper dynamic warmup and then transition into ball work. Once this is complete we would move onto specific drills that are meant to help the athlete with whatever they feel they need to work on. This section of the training session would be where we spend the most time. Once we have finished that I am a firm believer that any soccer player no matter what position, needs to be physically fit. To finish off the training sessions we would do about 10-15 minutes of condition followed by a proper cool-down.
