More About Coach Paul

I have an extensive history in profesional sports. I was the starting goaltender for the Boston based youth soccer club Bolts FC for a year and half. After playing for the Bolts, I was recruited to Celtic FC, a premiere team based out of Scotland. While playing with Celtic I attended the Netherlands national team training camp for preseason. After playing a few games with Celtic, I was traded and began a carrer with Newcastle United as a second string goaltender. Unfortunately, not far into my carer, an extensive medical examination revealed I had a slight case of scoliosis abruptly ending my carrer. Although my playing history is predominately as a goaltender I have experience training players from every position.

Participating in play at such a high level helped increase my skill level a great deal. I strongly believe the best way to improve a players skill set, particular individual skills or ability to create plays on the field is to practice at a high level. I hold my players to a high standard, one that I know they can achieve with enough hard work and determination in order to maximize their potential.

Almost ever activity or drill executed durring my practice sessions not only has a direct purpose but also has an elelement of fun. I try my best to create challenges and small games within intense play. My sessions usually have the same general format being with a skills lesson of some sorts, followed by others drills specific to the athletes needs, and end with a live game stimulation activity.

I strive to push my atletes mentally and physical during each session in order to create vast improvements in their game immediately.

I have extensive experience as a professional athlete and have trained with some of the top youth programs and professional Soccer clubs in the world, as well as attending a training camp for the dutch national team. I was the pre-season starting goaltender for Celtic FC as well as the second string goaltender for Newcastle United an English premier league team.

My typical session for working out a new player is an hour and 15 minuet work out designed to evaluate all their strengths and weaknesses both mental and physical. I would start with a 15 minuet warmup and light fitness. following that I would go to technical skills and run 20 minuets of of technical training. This is then followed by 30 minuets of intense fitness and finishing up with a game related exercise for 10 minuets. I would then use this information to design a custom training plan for my athlete.
