More About Coach Oneshot
Over 20 years of training experience working with kids, elderly, white/blue collar workers and Athletes. I am a license U.S.A boxing and Athletic Coach. I work with boxing Olympians, Golden gloves fighters, and MMA fighters. I have worked at the worlds famous Gleason's boxing/MMA gym. I have also work at two of NYC most high end profile gyms: Wills Space and Stuart Burton Iron and Silk gym. I am currently working at Stuart Burton Iron and Silk gym. The Number one high profile gym in NYC. I work along my partner Stu who trains Division 1 College Athletes. Certification includes NASM, Exercise Science Alliance personal training and Strength certificate, Athletic & Fitness Association of America(AFAA) and Bachelors in Health and Science.
In high school, I ran Track & Field. I was on the record setting team that won at Penn Relays in Philadelphia. I later return to become the assistant Track & Field coach for my high school. I am also a boxing golden glove champion. I also fought professionally but I cut short my career to become a Boxing and Athletic Coach with vision of owning my own gym.
I specialized in precision training. Precision takes focus and concentration. It goes beyond just counting reps and calling out exercises. Precision consists on exact angles, slow focus, and measured breathing. My components of training includes five stages. 1.Natural animalistic movements 2. Fundamentals: Mastery of movement that focuses on getting the most out of each exercise. Anyone can go to the gym and power through 100 push-ups. I focus on doing 10 push-ups precisely, getting the most out of each rep. 3. Hybrid( once the fundamental movements have been mastered, I combine them in what is call hybrid exercise. Hybrid movements combine multiple exercises into one movement that challenges both the upper/lower body simultaneously. The more muscles you can stimulate at one time, the greater the demand on the body and the greater the results. 4. Boxing( foot works, Defense, combative training, speed and agility drills). 5. Turbo( Fast-paced strength training is accomplished by moving quickly with as little rest as possible through a gauntlet of exercises. Turbo challenges strength and endurance with power-efficiency. This type of training has been shown to boost one's metabolism up to 10x more than cardio and strength training done separately.
