More About Coach Olivia

I played softball since I was 4 starting out in tee ball. I have always had a love and passion for softball and working with children. Softball has helped me in every part of my life. Previously I have played on multiple travel teams along with my high school teams. I have coached girls ages 7-16 in pitching lessons.

My greatest accomplishment is making a 18U travel team as a 13 year year old and getting to play and start on the team. I moved my junior year of high school and decided that I was going to focus on school. I was chosen by my team and coaches to be a captain on my travel ball team my senior year and that is when I decided that I would hang up the cleats and wanted to be a coach.

In my sessions I first like to look at what level the girl is at. Then off of the first lesson then I will make a plan and talk to the girl about what her goals are and plan off of that and what I see. Each girl is very different in what they need to work on and what level they are at. I like to try to warm the girls up as much as I can and break it down to the mechanics before learning new pitches or trying to increase speed.

Coach Olivia is a great coach! She has a patient and informative coaching style and by the end of her first lesson I could see improvement with my daughter. So happy we have found Coach Olivia and can’t wait to watch my daughters pitching ability grow with each lesson!

Olivia was personable, knowledgeable, and most importantly fun. Olivia was quickly able to pin point flaws in my daughter's pitching delivery during warmups. My daughter can't wait for the next session.

My daughter was very nervous to get out on the field with someone she didn't know but Olivia welcomed her out on the field like they had known each other for years. Coach Olivia is patient and seems to have a plan to improve skills. She was able to improve my girls skills after just one session. we will be bookinh more sessions.

5 Star pitching coach! I would highly recommend Olivia to any level player from beginner to advanced pitching. My daughter was a beginning pitcher when she started lessons with Olivia. Olivia is very good at communicating the proper fundamental mechanics that every beginning pitcher needs to be a successful player. Once the athlete has the fundamentals down, Olivia is able to determine the player's individual style and work with the player to improve the skills of her pitching even more.

Olivia is an excellent pitching coach. I would highly recommend her to anyone. My daughter has met with a number of different coaches in the past--one is currently the starting pitcher at a division II school, another pitched at a division I school throughout her college career. Both were helpful, however neither possessed the instructor mind-set that Olivia does. She is truly first rate.
