I have been working as a Soccer Coach and Private Trainer for the past 4 years. I began my coaching career working with Alexandria Soccer Association in Alexandria, Virginia in their Pre-K programs and as a Summer Camp Director. After spending a few months with the club, I started assisting with a u16/17 Girls' ECNL team, which I eventually took over as head coach. This experience sparked my passion for private training, as I recognized a lack of foundational technical understanding and variety, even at the highest competitive level. The concept of technical mastery and variety became the inspiration for my training sessions, and of the players on that team, 3 of them have gone on to play at Top Division 1 Colleges, including the current US Women's Futsal National Team Goalkeeper. In addition to my experience with the U16/17 Girls Team, I coached for several Futsal teams at the club including the u14 Girls, u17 Girls, and Men's and Women's Futsal Pro teams. I believe my futsal background and experience brings a unique perspective to technical mastery, which has been used as a successful method in South American countries to produce players with elite ball control. My latest experience in my coaching journey was at Lakewood High School, where I am currently a Math Teacher, as the head coach for the Boys' and Girls' Varsity Soccer Teams. While I do believe my coaching experiences and successes speak for themselves, I believe my education experiences are truly what sets me a part as a private trainer. My training programs are built with the psychology of education in mind when determining drill progressions, utilizing motivation strategies, and identifying individual learning preferences.
