September 2014 My eleven old daughter had the wonderful opportunity to work with Coach Nick through our local YNCA. During the 10 weeks or so that she worked with him. I saw tremendous growth- not only in her volleyball skills, but in her leadership, team work and overall confidence. It was so great to see such growth in such a shot amount of time. The kids really want to work hard, not just for coach Nic, but for themselves as well. Throughout the summer Coach has made himself available at a local park to help the girls continue with their skills. Its hard work but they all seem to love it. September 7, 2014 Our eleven-year old daughter had Coach Nic as her Coach in the YMCA volleyball program. While working with him, she learned not only essential volleyball skills and teamwork, but also developed greater confidence as an athlete. She and the other girls on the team responded well to coach Nic’s great enthusiasm for the sport of volleyball and his gentle yet rigorous training. Hi is a kind generous and energetic mentor and coach to his players. Over the summer, Coach Nic offered to continue the girls training at the local park. We were very happy to have our daughter attend these sessions. They were fun and also demanding work outside which gave my daughter her first experience with more advanced athletic training. That experience has been valuable not just in terms of her fitness and skills, but also in terms of her learning how to work hard and overcome challenges.
