I have had the privilege to coach at all levels of this game. I coached at Clovis High School in Clovis CA for a year before embarking upon my first college coaching position at UC, San Diego. At UC, San Diego we won the D2 National Championship in 2011 and placed runner up in 2012. Was named to the 2011 NFCA Coaching Staff of the year and the 2012 West Region Coaching Staff of the year during my 3 year stent at UC, San Diego. After my time at UC, San Diego for the past 2 seasons and this current 2015 season I have been a part of the Sacramento State Softball Coaching Staff. I play a major role in developing catchers, outfielder, conditioning, hitters, and pitchers at Sacramento State.

I love to coach the younger players of this game and teach them the basic fundamentals that will impact their game forever. However, I also love coaching the high school athletes and getting their minds and bodies prepared for what is to come in college.

I got my degree in Exercise Science and have a real passion for training the whole athlete not just the sport specific skills. I focus on conditioning, mental, emotional, nutritional, recovery, and sport specific skills that are a necessity for an athlete to go to the next level.

I had the privilege to play at Fresno State under the coaching of one of the all time greatest Hall of Fame Coaches, Margie Wright. Under her coaching I was blessed enough to receive the following honors as a 4 year starting catcher.

Also, as if softball was not enough I just recently had the opportunity to play catcher for the USA Women's National baseball team and we played in the Japan World Cup in the summer of 2014 and won the silver medal.

A typical session with me can include:
-Sport Specific skill work: warm up and right into the breakdown of skills with drills to enforce good habits.
-conditioning : development of proper running form along with a great workout
-mental session: begin each session with some kind of mental training to prepare the athletes mind for the session
-cool down: stretch and recover
