More About Coach Nelson
I have played volleyball ever since I was 12 years old. I went to nationals 6 times when I was in middle school till the end of High school. I currently run the UTA Mens Volleyball Team and I have been surrounded by some of the best volleyball players out there. I have a passion for coaching and want to be able to help out others in a unique way. I play volleyball almost every single day of the week and have knowledge of the basic fundamentals of the game and more. I specialize in all positions in the game and a little more advanced in setting.
I have played under the instruction of Gold medalist, Riley Salmons. I competed in national level during my juniors years. I have competed with UTA Mens volleyball in the SIVA conference and ranked no.5 in our last tournament. I know how to teach volleyball from any age or gender.
My sessions would be specialized for each client. I would speak with the client before the session and see what he/she wants to work on. If it is strength/conditioning I can do that too. Also I know thousands of drills for setters, servers, liberos, and hitters.
