More About Coach Nathan
I ran "Soccer Club" at my high school that worked with Pre-K to 3rd graders once a week after school. I have coached church league teams since I was 15. I usually worked with teams younger than U10 and gave personal training sessions with kids 10 and older. I do not have any industry certifications right now but I am open to acquiring them.
I played Division 1 soccer. I started every game my freshman year, lead the team in goals, freshman of the week, and made the all freshman team while playing for LIU Brooklyn. I was a starter for a 7X State Champion team in Oklahoma (TSC 94 Black). I was a 4 year starter for Holland Hall Preparatory School. Lead the team in assists all 4 years. Senior year was Offensive MVP with 20 goals and 18 assists in 20 games.
My clients could expect a hands on approach because I am still physically active and in my prime. I have a vast knowledge for the modern game and would implement the following necessities through "game speed" situationals; creativity, dribbling at pace, finishing, defensive decision making, and passing accuracy. An example for a creativity situational would be to set a grid up 20x20. Each side has a goal with a number assigned to it(1-4). I would shadow defend (light defending/no tackling) the client and call out a number (1-4). The client would have to locate the correct goal and dribble through the goal with shadow defending from me. The client would be learning to keep their eyes up while scanning the field and looking for a spot in the defense to exploit on the dribble.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Coach Nathan. My 9-year old son had 3 sessions with Nathan, and loved them. However, scheduling each session was incredibly difficult due to Nathan's scheduling issues and conflicts, to the point where we were not even able to schedule the last 2 sessions of the 5-pack. A good coach who is not available or responsive is not effective. You should look for someone else who can make a commitment to you.

Did an amazing job. I am an older player who wanted to re-learn basic drills and tips to help me just play smarter. He did so much in just one week. Also had great advice for workouts to do on my own. Was way better then i expected.

This was my first session with Nathan, and as a student athlete in my junior year of high school, I found him to be very relatable and helpful. Because he played the same position I currently do, he had many helpful insights about my position at a college level. He was always encouraging and was never afraid to be honest with me. I value his honesty, and found it to be the most helpful part of the session, because it helped me to open up about what needed to be improved upon. He also pushed me but was cautious of any personal injuries or concerns.
Thank you Nathan.

Coach Nathan is great. My son really enjoys his sessions and there has been a noticeable improvement in his game performance after just three sessions.
