Lacrosse is an art, a dance, a performance. But it's also a rodeo, a mud-pit wresting match, a chess game. Connecting these two hemispheres of the sport is where I come in. View all coaching experience

More About Coach Nate

I was fortunate (and lucky) enough to have had many coaches who instilled valiant and humble principles within me, ultimately leading to life-changing perspectives and pathways both contributing toward on-the-field traits and every-day emotional intelligence. After well over a decade of playing, I now instill these pillars of integrity into my players. I've coached all age ranges from kid's who've just picked up a stick to College Lacrosse. This past year I coached club youth and middle school programs in Los Angeles and was brought on to be an Assistant Coach for my Alma Mater, USC. As one of the smaller kids on all of my teams growing up, I stuck with this mantra, which is a huge part of my coaching experience; HARD WORK BEATS TALENT WHEN TALENT DOESN'T WORK HARD.

Throughout my time playing College Lacrosse, I was a 2X Captain, Most Inspirational Teammate Award Recipient, and 4 year starter. What I am most proud of is my dedicated, and albeit emotional recovery from a complete ACL reconstruction surgery during the beginning of my Senior Season. Right after I graduated, I played for a fun grow-the-game league in Israel and was named an All-Israel Attackman. My greatest accomplishment isn't the overtime game winners or the top 20 wins, but the outstanding relationships that I've earned and fostered over the years, leading to a more fruitful lacrosse experience.

First and foremost, I'm a joker. I love to get a good sweat in, but more importantly, I like to get a good laugh in. Each session is tailor made for the individual or group, depending on age, skill level, physical ability, and Lacrosse IQ. The sessions will contain stickwork, footwork, technique and mechanics, and other game-simulating and IQ drills. I'm a big fan of grinding it out, but also love to play games and work on other fun aspects of the sport, especially for the younger kids.
