More About Coach Meghan
I am a youth softball coach for girls ages 8-18, providing lessons, and clinics for those who are passionate about the game of softball, and want to improve their skill. I am currently an Assistant Coach for San Francisco State softball this season. I have experience running/planning UC Davis Skills Clinics, as well as coaching the highly competitive Bears 18 Gold travel softball team. I assisted in training prospective student-athletes, while also guiding their personal growth and overall team success.

The key to softball success is a combination of body control, repetitions, and mental preparation. My sessions will flow from body control and skill basics, to repetitious control, to control at game pace, and finally mental preparation. Each session is adjusted for the level of the player being taught. From warm-up to the final minute my students will always maximize reps. They will leave with better control, confidence, and game intelligence.

My daughter is a very analytical player. She likes to have things detailed and concise. Coach Meghan was able to provide that same level of attention to detail that was well received by my daughter. During training, Coach Meghan was able to break down and make adjustments in her stance and swing. When it was apparent that my daughter didn't understand some of the instructions, instead of rephrasing, Coach Meghan broke it down even further so that even the basic fundamentals were understood.
By the end of the session, my daughter expressed to me that she feels more confident about her swings and looks forward to applying what she had learned from Coach Meghan. As a parent, I feel that it is important that my daughter feels good about these trainings and we look forward to having more training sessions with Coach Meghan.
