Former college softball player and recently retired Phillies Ballgirl. I've given hitting and speed lessons to girls ranging in age from 7-17. I've done so as private lessons, semi-private lessons and with entire teams - and in various settings, including as an instructor with Longstreth Sporting Goods' Training Academy, through class A travel teams and my own private instruction.

I competed as a Division III athlete for Albright College from 2007 through 2011. I played center and right field on defense. Offensively, I was a switch hitter, mostly slap hitting and drag bunting from the left side. After college, I played for a semi-pro women's league and competed against the Brakettes.

Typically, I prefer to work with clients on a weekly basis, but this can be adjusted based on individual circumstances, of course. In a typical 4-week month with a weekly client, two weeks per month would focus on skill work - tees, soft toss, hand-eye drills, front toss, etc. A third week will focus entirely on explosiveness out of the box and speed drills. The fourth week would be spent in a batting cage.
