I graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word with a double major in Athletic Training and Rehabilitative Science, Minor in Psychology. I have worked training, conditioning, and rehabbing athletes for the past 5 years. I have done multiple summer coaching clinics at my University from 2008-2012. I Coached two (02) and (05) girls NEYSO Liberty soccer team in 2013 and now currently training kids ages ranging from 8-50 years old.

In my sessions I work on building fundamental skills such as passing and receiving, shooting and defending with a combination of agility exercises. My trainings consist of a circuit that contains 5-6 different drills that we hit for about 1-2 minutes each and do 3-4 sets. In the beginning of training we will activate the body and nervous system by using bands. We will place these stretch bandy around the ankles and thighs and work on basic movement patterns (squats, shuffles) to help reduce injury rate and strengthen key areas of the body. After completing the band exercises we move on onto dynamic movements (lunges, jogging, legs swings, open the gate, etc.) to prep the body, and working on running techniques to improve speed and agility movements. Later we move into technical drills that target key skill moves and by playing multiple mini-soccer games that will be fun, have a high work load, which will be key to improving one's overall game. Lastly, we always will end with finishing drills that work on striking the ball with power and technique. Make sure you come ready to train and put in the work to become the best player you can be.
