More About Coach Mark

Son of ski instructor and mountain rescue parents, Mark developed a love for snow sports, early. Growing up in Europe and with almost 30 years of experience, Mark was one of the early adopters of snowboarding. He moved to Colorado to follow his passion for the Rocky Mountains, teaching and personal student growth. There he has taught all ages and levels of students from beginners to experts for the past seven years. Mark is nationally certified and experienced in freeride, terrain park and half-pipe techniques.

2003-2006 University of Colorado Freeride Team, former competitive collegiate rower and cyclist, triathlete and runner with 25+ years of snowboarding experience and using his experience and athletic ability to teach beginners and advanced snowboarders.

Beginners: Have fun learning to snowboard for the first time! It takes the average person three days to learn the basics of snowboarding. With my First Time lessons, you will get safe and proven first timer instruction.

Advanced: Whether it's fine-tuning your already solid technique or discovering new lines, you go everywhere with confidence and style. You're all about working on the nuances and when it comes to your bag of tricks, you want the biggest bag.
