More About Coach Marisa
I have trained and developed youth players aged 5-14 at Next Level Training (Novi, Michigan) soccer camps for 5 years. At these camps, we focus on technical development and the ability to apply the skills learned in real game settings. I have experience conducting my own sessions and teaching the fundamentals of soccer to athletes of various ages.
I am currently playing professional soccer in the National Women's Soccer League for the Houston Dash. I was drafted by the Orlando Pride in January 2019 and spent three years with them.
Prior to my time in Orlando, I was a four year student-athlete at Northwestern University. During my time at Northwestern, I went on to win a Big Ten Championship and made four consecutive NCAA tournament appearances. I was elected caption my junior and senior season and went on to be a member of the All Big Ten First Team both of those years, too.
Sessions will be created based on what the client wants to improve. Before any sessions, I will ask the client what they want to improve on and will base sessions off of that. This gives the client the opportunity to truly work on their individual goals. Sessions can include any of the following: passing, receiving, dribbling, skills, shooting/finishing. Sessions will last about an hour and will include a warm up and various drills tailored to what the client wants to work on.

Client Reviews
Ruthie (CoachUp client)
Coach Marisa is an excellent coach. She has helped my son tremendously with ball skills and fundamentals. He doesn't get this kind of 1:1 coaching in his regular programs, so her help has been invaluable!
Edwin (CoachUp client)
She is an amazing coach and taught my sister great fundamentals and she has phenomenal attitude!
Ester (CoachUp client)
Great coach!
Yaima (CoachUp client)
Our son was engaged the entire time and said that he really enjoyed meeting and working with Coach Marisa. It was only the first session but she definitely knows the game and we are confident that her ability to connect will help to accelerate his development. Looking forward to it.
Jason (CoachUp client)
Coach Marisa was fantastic. She exceeded all expectations as a personal trainer to help my daughter enhance her abilities. The key fundamentals that she focused on would translate to anywhere on the field and were things that you could never be too good at. She was extremely knowledgeable, patient, positive and really seemed to enjoy coaching/helping others. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to help their child improve their game.
Mike (CoachUp client)
Coach Marisa is an immensely talented trainer who has much to deliver in terms of knowledge and skills.
