More About Coach Marcus

I have been giving private Hitting lessons for the last 10 years. My coaching experience includes 3 years as the Hitting Instructor for Teamsmith Softball. I was hired by Terry Schweikert (current Director of Softball Operations Texas A&M softball) to work with the 18 Gold Team but I also did work with the younger age teams whenever possible.

My coaching is based on proven common sense principles that work at the highest level of competition. I have former students currently at University of Washington, Texas A&M, Georgetown, Utah, Sonoma State and Dixie State. My lessons include video analysis to help the students track their progress and improvement. I believe in lots of tee work along with soft-toss drills to develop proper swing mechanics before moving on to any "live" pitching.
I enjoy working with players (Baseball included) of all ages and levels. I especially enjoy the mental aspect of hitting, helping my students to enjoy the process and respect the game at all times.
