More About Coach Mandy

23 years of college coaching experience, including 9 yrs as a Division One Head Softball Coach and 2 yrs as a Division Two Head Coach. I am a Four-Star Master Coach from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. Most recently, I have been working with athletes as a Sports Performance Specialist focusing on maximizing performance potential, leadership development, recruiting consultant, and life coaching. I have a Masters Degree in Physical Education with a focus on Human Performance.
This past season I led my high school team to the State Semi-finals, the teams best finish since 1978.

I am a former collegiate player, winning a National Championship, two National 3rd place finishes, and one National 2nd place finish while playing softball. I also play golf and recently won a local tournament. In High school I played softball and basketball and was 4 year varsity starter in both sports earning 8 for 8 varsity letters. I am in my high school Hall of Fame.

My session plans would focus on developing proper technique, solid fundamentals, and quality over quantity - whether it be hitting, pitching, or defense. I will also incorporate the importance of the mental game with all the physical development. Emphasizing, the importance of training for the mental game as much as the physical game. Games are played from the neck down, but we win from the neck up.

Great first session

I consider a good coach to be one that improves the player the most she can during the time they are involved with them. Coach Roczniak is this type of coach. Coach Roczniak has great teaching skills and baseball knowledge who will listen to you and you can trust. With her coaching I made the varsity team.
Coach Mandy gives 110% and has unbounded commitment.
You are always prepared and I have learned from not only your words, but your actions. You taught me it can be fun and serious at the same time. I know what I have learned will help me in my future.
Thank you for teaching me everything about playing at the Division 1 level and all the important things that don't include the game. Thank you for taking me on as a walk-on and treating me as the the rest, it truly means a lot. And thank you for all the guidance and putting all you had into the team and all the extra things you didn't have to do. You're the most caring coach I have had yet.
Thank you for helping me out this summer, I am very grateful for the fact that you were actually honest with me about what I need to improve on. It was great to have someone be realistic with me and help me out so much after knowing me for such a short period of time.
