Clients can expect a friendly player coach with a passionate yet professional attitude. Sessions are personalized to the position and playing style of the client. Generally a session begins with a thorough warm up and dialogue, then progresses into speed agility quickness drills. That will progress into general ball work to improve technique, then game realistic, position specific situations, then we end with competition. A 1v1 against myself, a shooting game, timed dribbling through an obstacle course, etc. Quality sessions should foster creativity and passion for the game. Clients should leave satisfied that they improved and excited for the next session.

Client Reviews

One session and my son played the best game of his life. Luke is giving him the confidence and extra skills that he needed.

Great first session. Coach Luke is very personable (does a really good job of getting to know your player) & is knowledgeable of the game. We look forward to working with him in the months ahead.

My daughter really enjoyed working with Coach Luke. He was very friendly and individualized her sessions to what she needed. My daughter felt like he showed her different tips and drills she can you use to continue to improve. Luke was flexible with scheduling and responded promptly to my messages.

Working with Coach Luke has been great, he knows all the tricks and pushes Jacob to get better at footwork. Having a coach who is still playing professionally not only excites Jacob, it also let's me know that what they're working on is up to date and effective. Thanks Coach Luke!

I wanted to provide you some feedback on the training sessions you have been having with our son Braylon. We have been very pleased with the progression we have seen as well as the excitement Braylon gets when he knows he is training with you. There was as special bond between the two of you from the time that Braylon played with the Arsenal Academy and we are very thankful that you offered this additional training with him. The feeling is that during his normal club practices he only gets so much out of them because the feedback from Coach Zimmerman had to be spread out over 15-20 players. Our decision to have Braylon participate in the individual training was to assist him to grow the skills he already had and to add new skills to his play. All three of us feel that you have excelled in that area and we have seen consistent growth in his play as well as a regained enthusiasm for the game. We have listed out our feedback for the sessions that you have conducted with Braylon below: Creating challenging and fun practice sessions. Introducing the ladder to him! He often tells us how much he enjoys the challenge and how much his footwork has improved because of these ladder drills. Introducing different drills that concentrate on similar skills. Emphasis on explaining why you are working on a certain skill and how it relates to a game time situation. Providing both positive and constructive feedback, encouraging Braylon to identify what was successful and what was not and why. Alternating solo practice with small group practice. This was a very welcome addition to the second round of training sessions. Braylon was struggling with spacing and movement without the ball. This mixture of solo and small group assisted him to be more aware of where he was on the field and to work in a team concept. We have seen quite a bit of his confidence return and feel that this step was important to that improvement. Making time to attend games to evaluate his progression and make adjustments to his training based on your observations. Thank you for doing this, it meant a lot to Braylon that you were there to watch him play. Consulting with Coach Zimmerman to align your training with his expectations. Tailoring practices to Braylon's strengths and understanding the type of player he wants to be. Homework! This was a fun and educational way to encourage Braylon to learn from observing the game. You understood how much Braylon enjoyed watching the game of soccer, especially his favorite team of FC Barcelona. The homework encouraged him to not only enjoy what was happening on the field, but to really pay attention to how the players were interacting and the strategy involved. Spending extra time after the hour was up...We appreciate your flexibility in working with Braylon even after session had ended, often playing a fun game such as soccer tennis or 1v1. We truly appreciate the time you have spent with our son and look forward to his continued growth and keeping in contact with you as you pursue your dreams, wherever that leads you.
