Lewis (Coach Lew) Bell, founder and CEO of Lew’s Fastpitch Pitching Lessons, specializes in private softball fast pitch pitching lessons for girls. Located in Upper Montgomery County, MD, We provide private fast pitch pitching lessons for girls and my client base includes girls from the ages of 8 to 18 years of age. The training progresses from recreational ball to travel ball to college. Our main goal is to provide character building, leadership skills and help enhance girls’ self esteem, especially those with economic challenges. This will enable them to qualify for their junior varsity and varsity softball teams in high school and to obtain college scholarships, and potentially qualify for the Olympics.
Currently, I am coaching girls for the 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U Travel Teams. Additionally, for the past ten (10) years, I have been a pitching Coach for numerous girls ranging from the age of eight (8) to eighteen (18). Fast-Pitch is my passion and my goal is to pass this passion on to the next generation.
For the past forty-six years, I have played the sport I love. Not only am I currently playing for the Washington, DC Warriors, but I also have ten (10) years of experience coaching men’s fast-pitch softball throughout the DC Metropolitan area.
Known as “Coach Lew”, I have earned a reputation in the community as an exceptional Coach who relates well to the students with whom I work, as well as their parents. I often provide clinics/workshops to the various to industry groups. This educates the various groups on the importance of girls’ involvement in sports activities, such as softball fast pitching and the many benefits to be gained.

Body condition, fundamentals: warm-ups, pitching tips, fast ball, change up, curve ball, screw ball, rise ball & drop ball.
They will learn leadership skills, confidence, self esteem and team play. They will also learn proper throwing, catching and hitting and for pitchers to field their positions.
