More About Coach Lana

I began coaching with Pitt-Greenville Soccer Association in Greenville, North Carolina. While I was there, I helped develop u16 girls to be prepared for the collegiate level. Recently, I have trained at the international level where I worked with Swedish children in developing their game. Currently, I am coaching with Aaron Velky at Pipeline Soccer Club. At Pipeline, I am working with a wide range of age groups.

I am also a Health Fitness graduate from East Carolina University. Through out the summer I worked with Power Train Sports & Fitness. While I was there, I personally trained athletes to reach their potential. Also, while I was overseas, I worked in a gym where I trained refugees.

In college, I played division one at East Carolina University. I had a very successful career at ECU. I played a large amount of minutes in every game I was there and ended my career being the fifth most leading goal scorer in ECU women's soccer. Over the summers during my collegiate career, I trained with WPSL teams. These included Jersey Blues, FC Pacific, and Washington Spirit Reserves. I have overcome many mental and physical hardships to get to the level that I am currently playing. Because of this, I have learned that the mental aspect of training is the most important. Currently, my career has transitioned to professional soccer in Sweden. During the off-season, I enjoy working with individuals to improve their game. Because of my journey through the soccer world, I understand the importance of hard work and training that will aid your kid into success.

During a typical session, the client will receive training in a specific area that he or she will need based upon an assessment. The client may suggest areas that they would prefer to be developed to enhance their soccer skills. These areas can range from technical development, speed work, agility and fitness that can aid in performance at a top level. A session may also include skills to begin college preparation and a parent may also ask about advice on playing soccer at a collegiate level.
