Any athlete can be great if they're willing to continually work on their skills. That's what I did to be successful, and I plan on transferring that knowledge to my clients. View all coaching experience

More About Coach Lacy
Playing at the collegiate level, paired with the workshops and hitting clinics that I've attended helped me focus on the fundamentals. While I don't have any past coaching experience, all of this information will be applicable to my coaching sessions. My goal is to share these skills with a new generation of softball players.
I started playing Fast-pitch when I was in 6th grade and was able to earn a spot on the lineup for the Williamstown High School Varsity team. While at Williamstown, I was named to several all-tournament teams, as well as receiving some defensive player awards. During my junior season ('05), I pitched a no-hitter and that's when my offensive game really took hold. Toward the middle of my senior season, I made the decision to further my athletic career, and signed to play at the University of the Cumberlands ('06). Though I encountered an injury my first year there, I recovered and was able to utilize my offensive skills to secure a spot in the lineup as the Designated Hitter. While playing at the Cumberlands, I received several awards - the most notable of being an All-Conference Honorable Mention during the 2010 season. My best collegiate moment, and probably my favorite athletic memory, was when I hit a game-winning hit twice...in a single game!
My athletes can expect to be pushed while gaining knowledge and understanding of the game. It is my belief that a great athlete is great because the work they put in on the fundamentals. I will show my athletes ways to work the fundamentals while working on speed, agility, and power.

Coach Lacy was great!!! In one session she was able to get my daughter doing things with her pitching mechanics that we were unable to for years. She is a great coach and my daughter enjoyed learning from her. I am a coach myself and would recommend her to any of my players.

First off I would like to say that when you go to a website such as this to look for someone to help you with something whether it be training in sports or it be repairs around your home, you want someone who is not only knowledgeable in their field but also they be a good person and they be nice to work with and Lacy is just that. My daughter has had two sessions and she enjoys working with Lacy. As a parent I have to say that Lacy knows the sport of softball very well and not only does she do a good job working with my daughter in showing her what to do, she takes the time to explain why you do things the way you do to achieve the outcome you want. I would highly recommend Coach Lacy to anyone looking for training in the sport of softball.
