More About Coach Kylie

I have coached anywhere from ages 5-18 year old students. I have been coaching club and high school players for the last 10 years in the Woodbury Soccer Club and at Woodbury High School.

I have my NSCAA High School Coach's Diploma, as well as my USSF "D" License. I enjoy working with many ages, with most of my experience in 10-15, but feel very comfortable with college prep workouts as well.

I believe that 1 on 1 time with a client should really depend on that player's strengths and areas for growth. Drills and focus of session would depend on your needs as a player looking to improve. I think it is very important for athletes to continue to develop their greatest strengths while making sure they know how to develop their weaknesses as well.

Sessions would start with a dynamic, physical warm-up, working on speed and quickness without a ball before introducing a ball into the session. Drills or skills will be focused on proper technique, accuracy, and speed, in that order. I am a firm believer of developing the right technique the first time around.
