More About Coach Kyle

I began my coaching career five years ago because of my love for the game. During my offseasons from playing professionally in Europe, I coached at 360 soccer outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I am highly experienced in training all ages from U-5-U-21. I have coached a U-8 boys team, a U-9 boys team, a U-14 boys team, a U-16 girls team, U-19 girls team, and a U-19 boys futsal team. I also have led many clinics on my own coaching up to 50 players at a time. I have run 100's of private and group training sessions. I have personally trained several national team players and top college players. Among the other coaches, I was the most frequently requested trainer at 360 soccer. After one session with these players, they wanted me to train them exclusively and they want to train more frequently.

I have played soccer professionally for the past three years. I most recently played Division 2 in Sweden for FK Älmeboda where I had 9 goals and 9 assists. Prior to this, I played in Division 4 where I had 13 goals and 7 assists. The Swedish newspapers referred to me as "The Amerikansk skyttekung" which translates to The American goal king in English. Before I began my career in Sweden I played professionally in the US for the Harrisburg City Islanders which was the USL affiliate to the Philadelphia Union. Before I went and played for Harrisburg I played for the University of Virginia where I played an important role in winning the NCAA Division 1 National Championship in 2014.
We made it to the final four NCAA tournament the previous year in 2013. I played club soccer for the New York Red Bulls academy and before that I played with FC Delco's academy. For Red Bull, I scored against the U-18 US National team in Red Bull Arena. When I played for FC Delco we won three State Championships and we were Regional Finalists.

In the beginning of my sessions I like to do a technical warmup. This gives me a good idea of what the player is like technically and I can get a better idea of what they need to work on. I like to work on first touch, dribbling, and passing. I believe these are the three most important things in soccer. Depending on the position of the player I like to also work on 1v1, shooting, and defending.

On time, enthusiastic, very skilled and worked well with our daughter. She looks forward to training again.

My son really enjoys training with Kyle. He is a great role model for younger athletes.

Excellent coach!

We decided to have lessons with Coach Kyle because of his past soccer experience at the collegiate and professional levels. Also, Kyle can help my son with offense. My son's first lesson went very well, and my son asked when we will play soccer with Kyle again. So, it's going well.

Coach Kyle is a fantastic soccer player and coach. He really makes training fun for our 12-year-old while working on both technique and strategy. I would recommend Coach Kyle to everyone.

My 11-year-old has trained with Kyle twice. Kyle does an excellent job of keeping him engaged by using some of the very same drills used at the professional level. I already see a difference in my son's mindset during games and practices.

Kyle did a great job working with my Daughter, the 10 sessions I could see her improving each time. It was worth it and He worked well with her. Thanks.

Kyle is one of the best coaches i’ve worked with. His skill, experience, and knowledge of the game are greater than any other coach i’ve had. Every time we train i feel as if i am a better player than when i walked on.
I have been training with Kyle for over a year, and it is the best Soccer decision I ever made. Along with off the field preparation and approach, my on-field management, ball skills, and love for the game and my teammates have enhanced to a point I always wanted but never thought I could achieve. Kyle helped me gain the confidence I was lacking and instilled a never give up or become satisfied attitude while still having fun. I know for a fact that I wouldn’t be where I am as a player if it wasn’t for Kyle. My only regret is that I did not start training with him earlier.
I started training with Kyle and from the very first session I learned so much. He was able to show me techniques from the professional level that he made easy to comprehend and put to use on the field. I gained confidence throughout the session and have been able to put the skills he has taught me to use.
I think Kyle is a great coach and I’ve learned a lot so far working with him. He’s helped me with my footwork, shooting and hustle. The sessions are really fun! I’m excited to get back to training in the Spring!
My 14 year old NPL daughter has been training with Coach Kyle and I could not be happier. His energy, skill, and enthusiasm is exactly what my daughter needs at this level and she can’t wait for her training sessions. Not only does he push her to become a better player, he shows her how to push herself. My daughter’s game had improved with Coach Kyle and I am confident this growth will continue and aid in her ability to play in college.
Kyle is truly an exceptional soccer coach. He instructs on topics such as shooting, finishing, foot speed, speed of play, balance to name a few. These topics are difficult to address in team training and are easy to develop bad habits when self-taught. As a professional player, his ability to demonstrate everything to the player(s) establishes great credibility and trust as the expert. His deep understanding of the techniques, nuances therein, and the methods of correction for each show immediate returns. Addressing weaknesses is never easy, but Kyle makes overcoming these just that. For the first time in a long while, my kids have said, “I wanna go back to get better”. As a soccer player, coach, club president and parent with three players, I highly recommend Goal King Academy for those looking to take their game to a higher level.
Kyle has been a game changer for both of my kids. It’s incredible the improvement I’ve seen in such a short period of time. Having played at the highest levels, he understands the technical nuances of the game and what each specific kid needs to incrementally make improvements. He doesn’t wave a magic wand, rather he systematically improves their technique, shows them new approaches, and most importantly, instills confidence that is transparent when they take the field.
