More About Coach Krystalani

I have been coach for 4+ years ages 6-64 I coach softball.
I am mainly a hitting and outfield coach and provide infield, catching, speed/agaility, and strength and conditioning skills
I have coached high school for two years in Washington state.
I currently coach players 6-18 yrs old
Typically work with 5-18

I started playing tee ball at 4 years old then eventually moved up to boys baseball until I was 8 years old. During that time period I was the only female to make the all boys ALL-STAR team and made a name for myself with my natural talent.
I then played one year of middle school baseball and found out there was actually an all girls team at the age of 9/10.
Started playing fast pitch and been playing ever since ! Dominating in middle school with a undefeated team I then went to high school averaging 15 HR season and reaching a success of 20 in one season respectively receiving first team second team mvp 2009-2013
I played travel ball as well
I ended up earning a full ride to D1 Texas southern university totaling up 8 Hrs my first year and all conference freshman of the year 2014! With a whopping 3-4 championships rings I’m proud to say I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way!

During a typical softball session, I tailor my approach to the client’s skill level and goals. We start with a dynamic warm-up, followed by position-specific drills focusing on fundamentals such as fielding, throwing, and hitting. I emphasize proper technique, agility, and game awareness. Workouts may also include strength and conditioning exercises to enhance overall performance. I prioritize individualized feedback to address specific areas of improvement and foster a well-rounded skill set.

Specifically, In a softball hitting session, we begin with a thorough warm-up to activate key muscles and promote flexibility. Batting drills then focus on stance, grip, and weight transfer, emphasizing proper mechanics for consistent and powerful hits. I integrate tee work, soft toss, and live pitching simulations to refine timing and accuracy. Throughout the session, I provide feedback on swing mechanics, hand-eye coordination, and mental approach to enhance overall batting skills. Customized drills and repetition help reinforce good habits and build confidence in the batter.

During a softball fielding session, again we start with dynamic exercises to prepare the athlete for agility and quick movements. I emphasize proper fielding stance, glove positioning, and footwork. Drills include ground balls, fly balls, and reaction exercises to enhance field awareness. I focus on developing quick and accurate throws after fielding the ball. Position-specific scenarios are incorporated to simulate in-game situations. Throughout the session, I provide constructive feedback on technique, positioning, and decision-making. The goal is to improve fielding skills, build muscle memory, and boost overall defensive performance.
